Explore the World of Author Lynn Jenssen’s Writing

I spent my childhood on a small island off the coast of New England, an idyllic setting with the safety and security of a small closed community.  Surrounded by nature’s beauty, the island was our playground – beaches, dirt roads, fields and hills, ours to explore.  I write stories — contemporary romance, women’s fiction, and family sagas — set in small seaside communities. Families and community members are woven throughout my stories. Characters who live, laugh, and love with an ocean view.

I now live in Rhode Island with my supportive husband Bill, on our small family farm. With two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, four joyful grandchildren, and three siblings with extended families, I appreciate the variety of relationships woven in a family fabric. When I’m not writing, I love to cook, swim, be outside, walk on the beach…while letting my muse run wild!
